I had a consultation for eye surgery in 2013 and then went ahead with it. I got an incisional double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction from the doctor who was said to be the most famous at the clinic. During the consultation, medial canthoplasty was also included, but after looking at my eyes, the doctor said it wasn’t really necessary, so on the day of surgery they left it out and proceeded. I felt the doctor wasn’t especially kind, but the expertise was clearly there. Honestly, whether he was kind or not wasn’t that important, and I think I felt that way because I was nervous. The surgery was done under local anesthesia and finished in 30 minutes. Since I went in not knowing much, the doctor chose a line that suited me and only asked me how high I wanted the crease, and he made my eyes suit me very well. I’m satisfied with the result. It took a long 2 years for the swelling to fully go down, but now that the eyes have settled after 2 years, I’m really satisfied.
