I had a consultation after a CT scan, and it went manager - director - manager. When I talked with the director, they explained directly, without beating around the bush, why the side effects happened and how the revision surgery should be done. They also spoke openly about the implant parts that would be needed. At first, the direct way of speaking was a little stressful, but while listening to the consultation, I kept thinking about how many directors would honestly explain a patient’s bad situation so directly. After that, I accepted it humbly and went through the consultation by checking with the director exactly which surgery and implants I needed, and the success probability of the revision. I liked that there was no overtreatment and no sugarcoating.
