Eyelid Community Review

I don’t remember the cost well, but with a vacation discount for epicanthoplasty + incisional double eyelid surgery, I think it was in the low 1 million won range. First of all, it failed. It was my first surgery, but they made my double eyelids uneven, and maybe because the double eyelids themselves were uneven, they also made the epicanthoplasty uneven. As soon as I came home after surgery, even my mom, who doesn’t know much about this, noticed and said, “Aren’t the two lines different?” I wonder if the person who operated really didn’t know they were uneven.. There wasn’t any detailed explanation during the consultation either. They just drew a few lines, gave me a quote, and that was it. At the time, it was my first time so I didn’t know much, and after looking at an app, I was in a rush because I felt I had to book quickly, so I just looked at a few review photos and chose this place. I didn’t have time to visit multiple clinics, and a friend quietly told me she actually knew someone who had gone here and ended up botched, but I thought, surely that won’t happen to me, and went ahead with it. Then I really ended up botched too. The consultant was very kind though. In the end, I got revision surgery on one side here after 6 months, but it’s uneven again. It became sausage-like.. The swelling went down more slowly than after the first surgery, so I wondered if swelling after revision surgery just takes longer to go down, but now, about 2 years later, it’s still exactly like the swelling at 1 month. I had it done when I was a student, so I didn’t have money for revision surgery, and people said it wasn’t noticeable unless seen up close, so even though it stressed me out, I just lived with it somehow. Now I’m looking into revision surgery. Since it was done by incision, it feels even more hopeless. I wish I could turn back time.
