In April 2023, I had double eyelid surgery together with a brow lift and it failed. Surgery should be done one at a time, but they said it would be good to do them together, so I did it, and after surgery I looked in the mirror and thought it had failed. Even now, my eyebrows have scars and their shape changed, and my eyes are sausage-like with mucosal eversion, and the lines are wrinkly. I had revision surgery on my eyes 6 months later, and this time the line was lowered, but the mucosal eversion is still the same, and on one side the line is wrinkly, so the line does not fold inward. I really hate myself for choosing it. It feels like the director thinks surgery is too easy and just does it carelessly. I’m working hard to look into other hospitals, but doctors say it will be a difficult surgery and that the mucosal eversion may not fully return. I’m depressed.
