I wanted to get the surgery done quickly because of my schedule, and luckily surgery was available on the consultation day, so I made the decision right away and had the surgery. The manager’s consultation was detailed and good. The director gave a slightly blunt impression, but it was the kind of thing you’d expect from a man, so it didn’t bother me much. The surgery finished very quickly. I was told it would be a short sedation anesthesia and that I would wake up in the middle, but I actually came to consciousness in the middle of the sedation and was scared. I think it may have been painful too.. (I was half asleep, so...)
Anyway, maybe it took about 30 more minutes? After the surgery ended I moved to the recovery room, had an ice massage, got swelling care, and was discharged. I also bought medicine at the pharmacy downstairs and went home.
I have to wait a bit for the final result, so I’ll add another review later.
-------------------- Since it’s January 1, it’s been a little over two months, so I’m adding another review. The fat didn’t take and everything hollowed out again, so the dark circles came back... There’s basically no difference before and after surgery (according to people around me).
I got a second fat grafting touch-up in early December (no extra cost). I went back for the touch-up, took photos again, and after comparing the before and after photos, there was still almost no difference before and after surgery (maybe about 10% improvement?). So I had a touch-up fat grafting using stored fat, and since the touch-up wasn’t under sedation anesthesia, the actual procedure itself finished in under 3 minutes from local anesthesia onward (excluding waiting time////I did wait quite a while. I assume it was because they were reprocessing the stored fat and preparing for the procedure).
Then after about a month, the dark circles started coming back again... At this point I’ve just accepted it and given up. It is about 20-30% better than before the surgery, so I guess I should just be satisfied. The director said not to rub my eyes and mentioned pigmentation, but I usually don’t rub my eyes anyway.
