I don't have any bad memories from that time. I had buried suture double-eyelid surgery 7 or 8 years ago, and it came undone after a year, so I had a partial-incision revision. Now, 6 years later, the eye on the side that used to get a double fold when I was tired before surgery has loosened again, so my eyes have become uneven, but it still looks natural and okay, so I’m leaving it as is. That said, I’m thinking about getting another consultation because the other eye, which has thicker eyelid skin, seems to have some ptosis.
