Eye Surgery Reviews

Dr.Smi community review

It’s now been 5 years since I had incisional double eyelid surgery. When I first went for a consultation, as soon as I walked in, it was like, “You can do this and this here. Questions?” so it was honestly over in under 3 minutes, which felt a bit off, but after seeing an acquaintance’s good result, I think I decided to have the surgery, thinking the result is what matters. The hospital is also quite large. But in the end, the result turned out not bad. However, the line on my right eye is, ha... I think they were trying to correct the asymmetry between my two eyes, but they set the front line high and the back line gradually drops, so it looks very strange when I take photos from the side, the eye shape.. And originally it was an in-out line, but as the swelling went down, the more I looked, because the line was set high, my right eye became an outline crease. Also, originally I had only booked double eyelid surgery, but on the day of surgery they pressured me into getting epicanthoplasty too, so I had it done together.. It was opened only a little, so it’s not that bad, but when something gets into my eye, it really gets in more easily than before surgery and it quickly stings and hurts. I don’t know whether that’s normal after epicanthoplasty or if it’s just me. If you’re going to have surgery, please choose carefully
