First, the doctor gave an extremely detailed consultation, explaining everything from how my eyes are shaped to the theory behind creating double eyelids. He carefully explained what surgical methods are currently possible, why this one is suitable and that one is not recommended, so I felt reassured. But I lost trust during the consultation with the coordinator. First, when I said I had already visited a place famous for eye revision surgery at another hospital, she asked why I went there and brought up a blacklist. (After actually checking, it does not seem to be a blacklisted hospital.) The first quote for buried-suture revision was 2.1 million won, and with anesthesia fees removed, it dropped to 1.3 million if I used partial photos.. But when I hesitated, she kept asking how much I was thinking of spending, as if negotiation were possible, and when I left without booking, her expression was not great. Using partial photos also is not something I can just decide on my own; the hospital also has to want to use the photos. In my case, the director said it seemed okay to use the photos, so that was what made the discount possible. I just didn’t like the coordinator’s negotiation skills or attitude in any respect, so I decided to pass..
