I lived my whole life with monolids and then got double eyelid surgery. I wanted canthoplasty, and for the line, I wanted a low semi-out line. But they told me I didn't necessarily need canthoplasty, so there was no excessive upselling. They recommended that since my features are on the defined side, a slightly higher and deeper line would also suit me, so I proceeded that way. Instead, I requested that it be not awkward and either natural or refined-natural. The swelling hasn't all gone down yet, but I think doing it moderately high suits me much better and looks pretty. It still feels a bit awkward for now, but I think it will be okay once the swelling goes down.
