I had revision rhinoplasty after 10 years. Compared with 10 years ago, plastic surgery techniques have changed a lot, and trends have changed a lot too. Even though it was a revision.. for my first surgery, I really knew nothing and just did whatever the doctor at the time told me to do, but hospitals these days have become much kinder. Director Choi Sung-hoon, whom I consulted with, explained things well in a friendly way. Since it had been a long time since my surgery, the nasal tip had drooped a bit, and compared with that, the nasal bridge was too high, so it looked awkward. He carefully explained how it would be good to operate. As expected of a large hospital, they had an anesthesiologist and CCTV, so I chose it. Here, instead of a splint, they used cotton inside the nose and taping, so it was convenient to wear a mask and go to work. Now it has been about a week? since I had the stitches removed, and I think once the swelling goes down more, the shape I want will come out.
