Eye Surgery Reviews

Review of Eye Contact

I had lived with sausage eyes for about 20 years, so for lowering the line, I went to 11 consultations and chose this hospital. Today I had all the stitches removed! I think the line may end up slightly lower than I expected, but at this level, I’d say the revision surgery was a success. (I had seen so many failed double-line excision cases.) While going to 11 consultations, the things I prioritized most were: Could I clearly express my opinion to the director? Was the hospital atmosphere good? I think I chose well. The director is really kind.. I met 11 doctors while going around to other consultations, and among them, this doctor felt the least fake, and to put it simply, comfortable. I have panic disorder, so I worried a lot even before surgery, but the doctor reassured me that it would be okay, and after surgery, because of the panic disorder, there were some ups and downs, but they kept worrying about me During surgery, my feet were sticking out, and from over there the doctor said, “Some air is coming in, huh? You must be cold,” and covered me. (Even though I was under sedation and half out of it, I heard everything.) And I think I opened and closed my eyes about 100 times. Very meticulous. I’m the type who normally doesn’t swell much, but there was even less swelling. The doctor seems to have quick hands. And after the surgery, I think they provide good aftercare. I have to see the doctor every time the stitches are removed (seems mandatory), and the nurse just took me right away, said I needed a swelling laser, and had me lie down.. They told me to come again in a month for a final checkup.. lol I liked that they seem to take responsibility for the surgery. And I said above that the line was lower than expected, but if only the swelling doesn’t go down any more than now, it would be perfect. (This is the only thing that feels a bit disappointing, but my eyes and eyebrows are very close together, so I think a thinner line suits me.) It just seems like the design is done to fit each person’s face.. The line got lower and my eyes got bigger! The canthoplasty was also not excessive and was done conservatively. Another good thing about this place was that the operating room nurses were really, really kind. Overall, everyone seems to have good character I’ll have to see once the swelling goes down more, but the surgery itself was a success, and aside from my eyes feeling a bit sensitive because the visible sclera area widened, it’s good. I couldn’t upload photos to the surgery review, so in the Eye Contact photo review, I left photos! For people considering lowering the line, I recommend getting a consultation here, and I think people who want a natural look would also be a good fit here. (Those lowering the line, ask for it to be about one point higher before surgery! Right before surgery, they ask what you want. I just said please lower it, and I regret not asking for it slightly higher.)
