Because the doctor did not recommend surgery, there was no surgery/procedure estimate, and I was told I could go home.
■ Consultation detailsㅡ If the current epicanthoplasty line is restored in that area, it would look stuffy, and the double eyelid would have to be set higher, but the eyelid area would become thicker and it seems there would be more to lose than to gain (same answer as ㅇㅇ1).
When looking at the whole face rather than close-up photos, it has been okay for 26 years and is not very noticeable. Since there still isn't much drooping, he said to come when the eyelid has come down to around the eyeliner, and that plastic surgery is not about being younger, but about having the surgery needed for that age group.
I was thankful that he looked at it from an honest doctor's perspective rather than his own profit.. I also thought, as expected, revision surgery is difficult!
The end line folds into two lines, but he said doing the whole surgery just because of this one thing carries a big risk.. And to change this front line, the fixation has to be high, but that could make my impression different from now.. Restoration is nono (same as ㅇㅇ1). I was grateful that he spoke to me with professional advice.
So there is no estimate. He says to come then, when the eyes have drooped more.
It was the same opinion as the previous ㅇㅇ1 doctor: if I redo the double eyelids now, there is a lot to lose (because the eye double eyelid has to be raised, it will look fierce).
Was it because my eyes are too difficult and the chance of success is low, so he refused, or did he refuse out of sincerity.. I want to get away from uneven eyes.. As a plastic surgeon, was he right to say not to do it now.. Anyway, I went home without an estimate.
He wanted me to go home!
