Right now, I’m looking into revision surgery hospitals and also going for consultations. I had surgery 2 years ago at a hospital near Sinsa Station.
I had silicone + osteotomy, and septal cartilage was used for the nasal tip. The osteotomy ended up uneven and bumpy, the hump wasn’t improved, and I even developed functional problems. After the surgery, one side of my nasal bridge line was sunken, so whenever I took photos, I often heard people ask if I had put contour shading on. The sunken side also made it hard to breathe, so when I mentioned this during revision consultations, they said the functional part seems to have been damaged during the osteotomy. I thought it didn’t show much in photos or appearance, and that it would be an easy revision case, but they said it’s a case that needs reconstruction. Hearing that my first surgery was botched and that I even need reconstruction makes me distressed and stressed whenever I think about it..
I can still clearly picture the director at the place where I had my nose surgery clapping and saying it turned out so well.. Even when I said my nose was uneven and bumpy, the director clapped and looked satisfied.. ha.. When I told the consultation manager, now they don’t even answer my calls. At the front desk, they only said that if I want aftercare/AS, this year’s appointments are fully booked so I have to receive it next year, and they won’t let me see either the director or the manager. When getting nose surgery, please don’t look into it casually like I did; look into it thoroughly enough and choose your hospital carefully..
