I had double eyelid surgery through an acquaintance’s introduction during the winter break of my senior year of high school. It’s a clinic that pursues a very natural-looking line, and during the consultation I first spoke with a counselor, then had a long consultation with the director as well. So I had my first eye surgery, but one eye came undone in less than a month, and I kept feeling itching and intermittent episodes of itching. Also, the crease was made way too low, so it was almost like a no-crease eye with a very narrow inner fold. (One side was completely gone, so many people didn’t even know I had double eyelids.) A year later, during the winter break of my first year of college, I got a free revision surgery, but when I asked them to raise the crease, they said they couldn’t, so they just made it the same line as the first surgery. I also kept having a lot of fat in my eyelids and asked them to scrape some off, but they said they had already scraped as much as they could during the first surgery and wouldn’t do it. But even now, if I look up, my eyelashes touch because there is still a lot of fat in my eyelids... I’m not sure whether it’s really impossible to remove any more fat... For now, I’m looking into a third revision and plan to consult about that too. Also, after the second revision, the crease became uneven, and when my eyes are only half-open, the difference in the crease becomes very noticeable. One eye is pretty, but the other eye shows. But when I open my eyes properly, everything gets buried anyway, so it’s a very narrow inner fold like a no-crease eye, so there isn’t a huge difference... Still, it is much better than before I had anything done at all, but it was below my expectations... I’m going to look into a third revision somewhere else. ++ I still get occasional redness and itching in the double-eyelid area. Suddenly the crease turns red and gets extremely itchy. I don’t know why Still, the aftercare is very good. Weekly care until the swelling goes down + free revision if the result isn’t properly corrected afterward
