Doctor kindness: Their tone was average, but their actions and explanations were kind. They consulted with me after the surgery was over, and overall they seemed kind. Consultation expertise: They explained things well, even took photos on my phone, and talked about how one eye was different from the other, which side was okay, that to keep the balance maybe only one side needed to be done, or that if both eyes were going to have the lines raised more than expected, an epicanthoplasty would be needed, but one eye didn’t even need it already. It felt like they weren’t pushing excessive procedures and were aiming for natural results. It felt like they prioritized appropriate treatment for the patient rather than inflating the surgical estimate. They said ptosis correction is part of the incision double-eyelid process. Staff kindness: Kind and explained things well and at length. This person also seemed similar to the doctor in that they didn’t suggest an unnatural estimate. But I felt their opinion differed a bit from the doctor’s during the consultation, so I recommend meeting with the doctor as well before leaving. Clinic facilities: When you first walk in, it doesn’t feel more flashy than other places. It feels like a neighborhood clinic; that’s the vibe of the waiting area. The visible facilities seem good. Surgery expectations: Based on the consultation, it felt like they would do a good job without overdoing it with appropriate treatment. I heard they provide good aftercare, and from the explanation it really seemed like they take aftercare seriously. No consultation fee.
