It’s been 5 months since I had the silicone removed and had nasal tip revision surgery using septal cartilage~ There haven’t been any obvious changes, but maybe out of a sense of obligation(?) or because I wanted to ramble a bit(?), I’m leaving a review~ The far left is before removal, the middle is a little over one month after removal, and the right is now, at the 5-month mark. The photo at the very bottom is my natural nose. Since it was 10 years ago, I don’t have many photosㅠㅠ
I thought some of the residual swelling had gone down, but looking at photos from the 1-month mark, there doesn’t seem to be a big difference^^; Maybe it only felt that wayㅋㅋ Instead, the upturned appearance from the contraction phase has come down a lot. (It started coming down noticeably from a little over 2 months, so I don’t think those in the contraction phase need to worry too much~)
Because it was done with septal cartilage, the nasal tip is firm, but even with it inserted, my nose is still this broad. If I hadn’t even had this, I feel like there really would have been no way to salvage my bulbous nose. Between the shaved-looking nasal bridge and the broad, indistinct front view, plus the bulbous nose that spreads when I smile, I sometimes think I want to put silicone back in again. But when I look at side-view photos from when I had contracture, I come back to my sensesㅋㅋ
