A 9-month review from someone living very satisfied after a natural-looking rhinoplasty with no obvious signs of surgery!
I went for a consultation around this time last year because I was referred by an acquaintance, and after searching in a community too, I found out it was a clinic famous for revision rhinoplasty. They said the doctor never overdoes it and performs surgery so side effects absolutely do not occur. After examining me, the doctor said the issue was not that my nose was low, but that 1) the inside of my nose was deviated, so I could only breathe through one side, 2) externally, my nose was also crooked, and 3) I also had a hump. I told the doctor I wanted these two things improved: 1) my nasal bridge was so lacking that it looked sunken, and 2) my nasal tip was round and spread out.
I also had a test for not being able to breathe through one side of my nose.. lol (he asked how I had been living and breathing with this nose, but I had never breathed through someone else’s nose, so lol I didn’t know..), They inserted a long cotton swab to show how it would look, checked the nose shape, measured the nasal angle, and after the consultation, we decided to build up the nasal bridge with thigh stem cells, slightly shave the hump nose bone, and raise the nasal tip with ear cartilage. They also said fat could be placed wherever I wanted using what was extracted from the thigh cells, so I went ahead with implant-free surgery, including fat grafting to my forehead, which had always bothered me!
For the surgery review photos, the first 2 are before surgery and the last 2 are after surgery. What amazed me the most was that right after surgery, I only had taping without even a splint, and it was so incredibly seamless, with no external incision at all. The surgery was done only through incisions inside the nose, which was the most amazing part!! I knew the doctor was skilled, but thanks to that, recovery from surgery was a bit more comfortable too.
Now at 9 months, I am living really satisfied with the result!! Honestly, right after surgery, since I had rhinoplasty, I thought my nose would become as high as Mount Everest, but there wasn’t a huge difference, so I felt a little disappointed. But people around me kept saying that natural is best and that it came out so well without looking obvious (they said it felt like I got prettier, but they couldn’t really tell what had changed), and my parents also said it turned out well lolololol Since my nose changed, my face feels much more balanced, there are no side effects, I can breathe so well it feels like I have 4 nostrils, and all the things that bothered me improved. Every time I pass by the clinic, I silently pay respect in my heart to my second father in Apgujeong and feel grateful.
As I saw in other reviews too, the director’s style is to absolutely discourage excessive surgery, and he performs surgery naturally and in a way that avoids side effects. So if you want a super high nose! A dramatic effect! I would recommend another clinic! If you want it to look natural without obvious signs of surgery, I recommend this clinic! For the price, another clinic I had a consultation with on the same day (Gangnam Station) quoted 2 to 2.5 million KRW more than here.
