Eye Surgery Considerations

Clinic community review

The staff and the doctor were kind. I have a deviated nose, and they said it would be difficult to fully correct the deviated nose with functional rhinoplasty alone, so they recommended using silicone. At that time, it did not feel forced at all. For functional rhinoplasty, they also spoke as if it was okay to do it or not do it if I am breathing fine now. (It may also have been what the consultant I spoke with said.) For the wide nose shape, they said there are parts that can be addressed with osteotomy and parts that cannot, so they would likely use both rasping and osteotomy. I had a CT scan, and there was no pressure to have surgery. One notable point is that I also had a consultation somewhere else on the same day, and the surgical method for the deviated nose was different. It felt like the focus was more on covering the deviated part with silicone rather than aligning the bones. I asked everything I was curious about, and they answered everything kindly and in an easy-to-understand way.
