I went around to a lot of places in Busan, from famous hospitals to small places I’d never seen before, and this doctor listened to the method I wanted (no implant, only autologous cartilage for the nasal tip; I wanted to leave the hump as it was, but most hospitals said to do osteotomy, shave the hump, and put in silicone. They didn’t seem willing to do what I requested) and realistically consulted me on the minimal way to do it, which I liked, and I also liked that they didn’t recommend more surgery than necessary.
It’s a hospital with almost no reviews, but the staff and overall hospital atmosphere felt calm, and the price range was reasonable, so I decided on this place (the nose surgery was the cheapest in Seomyeon)
For the surgery, I did no implant and raised only the nasal tip with autologous cartilage. Because I didn’t shave the hump, it’s a bit uneven, but I’m hypnotizing myself that this makes it look more natural haha.ㅎ.. Still, I think the result is pretty good in its own way. I guess I should be satisfied and live with this much (TMI: If there’s a complication with silicone placed over a shaved hump, after removing the silicone, they say the nasal bridge becomes extremely low For those doing hump nose or arrow-shaped nose surgery, I hope you think carefully about what happens after implant complications before choosing)
