My memory may be a little inaccurate, so please keep that in mind while reading.
I had consultations for eye revision surgery and nose surgery with the head director. The consultation fee is free if you subscribe to the YouTube channel and add the KakaoTalk channel. They take photos and then consult with you while looking at the pictures. If the consultant is younger than you, they apparently speak informally.
<Eye consultation> For the eyes, they said they use a technique they developed called “natural double eyelid,” but even after hearing the explanation, I still didn’t really understand it.
What I understood was that they do the incision, but the line is done with the buried method.
They said the goals were to improve eye-opening strength, get rid of sausage-like puffiness, and change the line too.
The line isn’t uneven, but because one eye naturally sits higher and its opening strength is weaker, it looks uneven, so they said the eye-opening strength needs to be improved. I think that means ptosis correction.
I had gone there only knowing two methods: removing the existing line and “double-line cutting,” so when they mentioned a new surgical method, I was a bit dazed after that. Thinking about it again, it seems like they meant the former.
I currently have an in-out line, and when I said I wanted to change it into a hidden double eyelid, they said my eyelid skin is thick so it would look too covered if done that way, and they created a new line using the existing one.
But then they said they wouldn’t do the surgery with that line?? I had hoped they would tell me which line they would use, but they never explained that part until the end, which was disappointing.
<Nose consultation> For the nose, they emphasized the importance of the tip a lot.
They said my nose is a “short nose” (a nose whose tip looks compressed), so they planned septal extension, and later the consultation manager said they would also do alar cartilage suturing. They said the tip would use ear cartilage, and the bridge would be silicone or costal cartilage, but that silicone was better.
I wanted to discuss the aesthetic details such as the starting point of the bridge, the curve, and the bridge height, but they seemed to think those were already covered by the photos I showed. Later, when I asked the consultation manager whether they usually don’t talk about those things, she said the director would handle that part well.
When I later asked about whether there would be A/S coverage and for how long if a problem occurred, they said if I start by worrying about problems, then I shouldn’t do plastic surgery.
Eye 170, nose 260, and they said there is a 10% discount if you do both at once.
