The first three photos show the contracted state caused by inflammation before surgery. After removing the silicone and waiting 9 months, I underwent revision surgery. The last 4 photos are after surgery. The revision surgery included 3 functional procedures (rhinitis, deviated septum, nasal valve) + osteotomy + autologous costal cartilage.
I focused on whether, if side effects were to occur again, I would be able to have surgery with this person again,
1. The reason the doctor predicted the inflammation occurred 2. The current state of the contracture 3. The materials they would use during surgery + If it was an ENT director’s hospital, improvement in breathing
I divided things into these categories and asked about them during consultations. In addition, for doctors I thought were good, I also asked about possible side effects if I were to have another surgery again. In the end, I think I chose the doctor I received surgery from now because they had the best understanding of the patient and explained things step by step: the current stage, the possible next stage, and then the stage after that. If you look at the previous posts written under my ID, you’ll be able to see that this was something I decided after a lot of thought and multiple consultations. The contracture caused by inflammation before surgery, and the breathing discomfort from it, have really improved a lot. I think the contracture revision surgery and rhinitis surgery were done at the same time and led to good results. I only took the contracture medication for 2 months, and so far it seems to be holding up well. There are still 3 more months left before I can feel certain.

Some people asked me about the hospital, but posting it publicly would seem too much like promotion, so I’m thinking of sending the information privately. At 3 months, I’m maintaining a good condition. I keep feeling really grateful to the director and the nurses at the hospital.
