I got double eyelid surgery when I was in my third year of middle school. I thought famous places must be famous for a reason, so I had the surgery at a plastic surgery clinic that pretty much anyone would know if they heard the name.
An acquaintance said they knew a director there, so I had surgery with that director, but there weren’t really any benefits.
The consultation was done with the consultant, and when I said I also wanted nose surgery, they told me I was still too young and should think about it again. (I was in my third year of middle school at the time)
I had surgery on January 4 during winter break, and when I was consulting with the consultant, the consultant recommended local anesthesia. They said it would just sting a little, so I said okay.
But local anesthesia isn’t just a little sting. It hurts insanely badly. Seriously, tears well up in your eyes.
On the day of surgery, I had a consultation with the director and even did the design. Because I got epicanthoplasty and double eyelid surgery, anesthesia is also done twice. The moment of anesthesia is the scariest.
I did not swell much, and the swelling also went down quickly.
