The director was calm, but all he really said was that if I did it with this or that surgical method it would probably go well, and he didn't have much else to say, so I asked about the surgical method and such, and he answered my questions well. It ended very quickly. If the patient has no questions, it seems like he is the type to keep it short. I was stunned in the manager consultation. I honestly thought, how can someone like this get paid a manager's salary and work here.. I couldn't even have a proper consultation. The mechanical and formulaic praise, the insincerity, just felt obvious. I think even someone completely oblivious would notice. They seemed to focus only on getting the surgery count up without understanding each individual person's characteristics.
