Revision rhinoplasty after 8 years

I had it done yesterday. The reason for the revision was that even after 8 years, I still couldn't get used to my side profile? After getting it done, only three people have ever asked me if I had rhinoplasty, so people said it looked really natural... There was no inflammation, contracture, or show-through at all, and I could treat it roughly as if it were my original nose with no problems. I really liked the frontal effect, but from the side, it looked long in a way that didn't match my facial proportions, so I considered removal, but in the end I decided on revision surgery and went through with it. When I first had it done, it was just silicone + ear cartilage, and even the doctor said the surgery was done conservatively, but this time it was silicone (lowering) + ear cartilage + they said a little septal cartilage would be needed when lowering the nose, so I was like, huh?

Are septal cartilage side effects often severe? If I decide to have it removed later when I'm older, it won't collapse or anything, right?

And I told people I know that I'm having rhinitis surgery... I go back to work from the 11th, will the swelling go down quickly? ㅠㅠ
