I think people may be divided on how kind the doctor is lol First of all... he's very firm about what can't be done (so you don't have to worry about overtreatment that much). Communication between the doctor's diagnosis and what the patient wants isn't exactly easy, and I felt that a little. He does answer what you ask, though hehe... I think the part that may make some people feel he's unfriendly comes from the fact that he's not really the type with flashy speaking skills? First of all... the part where I felt he was kind was when I suddenly got scared right before surgery and he gave me a reassuring line telling me not to worry? lol I think it was more than 5 years ago, and at that time ghost doctors and things like that were a big issue. Since this place said they only use local anesthesia without sleep anesthesia, I liked that part because I thought I wouldn't have to worry about a ghost doctor... Surgical satisfaction may be subjective, but what I liked was that at the time I couldn't find many reviews of people who only had medial canthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty without double eyelid surgery, and I liked that they did that for me.
