Since I’d worried about my dark circles since I was young, I decided to go ahead and have under-eye fat repositioning so I could live the rest of my 20s without them. It was my first surgery, so I was nervous and excited at the same time. I actually slept well the night before the surgery and went to the hospital without much worry. Even when I was lying on the operating table, I was less scared than I expected. Maybe because it didn’t feel real.. But the moment they said, “Now I’ll put you to sleep,” I got really scared. I was so scared I felt like crying, I kept saying, “I’m scared.. I’m scared,” closed my eyes, opened them, and it was over! It just felt like I had slept deeply!! The most painful part was the IV needle.. and it hurt the most when they put the anesthesia medicine? through the IV Even after the surgery, my lower abdomen, where they took fat for the fat graft, hurt more than my eyes!! The swelling is still going down... maybe because I looked like a fish with a human face.. I think it’s getting better!
