Dr. Romi Community Review

Uh... somehow, when it comes to the consultation, everything gets full marks... Uh... this is not advertising or promotion.... It’s a real, genuine review I live in Goyang, but I went all the way to Anyang 1 hour 30 minutes one way... The clinics I had visited before said things like - My septal cartilage is not sufficient, so ear cartilage, and possibly donated costal cartilage/autologous costal cartilage, may be needed. - My septal cartilage is sufficient, so even ear cartilage is not needed. Because I have deviated septum, inferior turbinate hypertrophy, and rhinitis, functional rhinoplasty is possible. - My nose cannot receive a functional rhinoplasty diagnosis. The size of the septal cartilage is not bad, but if it turns out to be too weak or deviated when actually opened, functional costal cartilage may need to be used. Ear cartilage is definitely used together. (The consultant at this clinic said something like CT results can come out differently depending on my condition) That was how it went... so I wondered, what condition are the materials I have actually in?^^;;;; chaos of confusion.... So I scheduled consultations at 3 more additional places A good mix of clinics where functional rhinoplasty is possible + clinics that only do cosmetic surgery! On the day I visited Romi, my schedule was to tour 3 clinics in one day starting in the morning, and the very first among them was Dr. Romi. Response when inquiring about reservation) I left my contact information on the website in advance to request a consultation Then the clinic called me, and from that point I felt they were extremely kind! Oh, and the original appointment time was 12:00, but maybe the day before or two days before the visit? They called to ask for my understanding and whether it would be okay to move it to 12:30 because of the surgery schedule before mine, And when I told them this was a day when I was touring consultations, they checked what time I needed to leave the clinic and everything~ Arrival at the clinic) The first thought I had after arriving at the clinic was that even though it’s a private clinic, it was bigger than I expected~ I was at the desk for about 5 minutes! I arrived on time, had CT imaging, then was assigned to the consultant in charge and had a consultation in the consultation room~ First consultation with the consultant) As with other clinics, they thoroughly checked my history of filler, sculpting injections, Botox, and other surgeries... The consultant asked what my biggest concern was. She asked not about what I had learned while going around clinics, but what had originally been my biggest personal concern! When I told her the consultation details I had received at previous clinics, she explained that it doesn’t make sense for CT images to come out differently each time. She also tried to understand why I wanted functional rhinoplasty~ whether it was because I was actually very uncomfortable, or because of indemnity insurance haha After finishing that first consultation with the consultant, I waited briefly and then went in for the director’s consultation~ It was nice that the waiting time wasn’t much longer than at other clinics! Director’s consultation) I felt that the time and effort spent coming all the way there were not wastedㅠㅠ! I was a little moved Because he explained everything so kindly and in detail Using actual silicone models of the external nose and the inside of the nose, he explained in an easy-to-understand way why my nose is currently in this condition (After going through other clinics earlier and studying every day through YouTube, I already knew roughly, but still, it was really nice that he explained so carefully like this) Dr. Romi is apparently famous for showing 3D virtual plastic surgery simulations And they showed it using a 3D program provided by a custom silicone implant company! However, unless it’s truly necessary, there is no pressure to use a custom implant haha A custom implant obviously has its advantages, but because my nasal bridge shape is relatively average, they honestly counseled me that I’m not a case that absolutely must use a custom implant (a very important point...) They said my nose could be done with no implant in the nasal bridge + nasal tip plasty only And if I raised the nasal bridge, they said probably only up to about 2.5 mm would be possible Actually, my forehead bone structure itself is flat^^;; so I wasn’t expecting a high, dramatic nasal bridge from the start But I was curious what choice would be good to get closer to the nose style I wanted The director asked whether the front view or side view was more important to me~ I said I think the front view is just a little more important... um.. could you take a look at the photos I brought? Maybe if you look, you might know which choice is closer to my taste? I opened a PPT on the iPad I brought and showed the nose shapes I thought were pretty (various front and side views)! After looking, he said the photos were consistently of noses with a slight nasal bridge in the front view, and if that was my taste, he recommended putting in an implant because my own satisfaction would likely be higher haha Among the clinics I visited, there weren’t many where I could see the director sufficiently and have a consultation Dr. Romi was one of the clinics where that was possible! Second consultation with the consultant) After the director’s consultation ended, I had another one-on-one consultation with the consultant haha At this time, I got complimented by the consultant!!ㅋㅋㅋ She said I had prepared very well, like a model patient haha I had organized everything: desired side and front views, common points and features of the styles I wanted, noses I thought were excessive, and so on~ My MBTI is very J, and I majored in design... So I know very well that when it comes to aesthetics, communicating in visual language is important^^;; And I learned through YouTube that the most common reason for revision rhinoplasty is dissatisfaction with the shape So I think I worked even harder collecting photos haha Plastic surgery is not treatment for simple therapy, but surgery done to resolve aesthetic dissatisfaction, right~ I thought communicating only through side-view images was meaningless If you communicate only that way, the chance you later feel there was no improvement in the front view will be higher. People live showing their front view more often than their side view, both to themselves and to others, don’t they? Make sure to collect front-view photos you like, and also definitely collect photos where you can say, this is too much! I don’t like this!~~ After the consultation ended) If you write a Naver Place review, the CT fee is discounted from 30,000 won to 10,000 won, and there is a separate consultation fee of 10,000 won. There was absolutely no pressure to book on the same day, so I could leave comfortably~ On the same day, after Romi, I went to 2 more places The next day, I had a follow-up consultation scheduled at a clinic I had visited before And I have 2 more scheduled for next week... Because I wanted to have surgery on a fast schedule, I thought I would look around 3 places that day, and if there was a place I liked among them, I would check their schedule and book it As it happened, Dr. Romi had surgery availability on the schedule I wanted, and the consultation also felt trustworthy, so I decided right away the next day! My surgery is this Saturday, and I want to become pretty quickly...!!
