The consultation went in the order of consultant -> director -> consultant, and I was a bit flustered at first during the consultation with the consultant. I’m not sure if the consultant had changed, if she was just unusually like that that day, or if that’s how she normally is, but it felt like she had a lot to say but couldn’t organize it well..? However, she said it was day 4 after her revision eyelid surgery, and although one eye had a little bruising, there wasn’t much swelling, so I kept looking at it The director felt a bit robotic. He asked whether I had brought any photos and asked what I wanted. I said I wanted to change the outline double eyelid I had done with the buried-suture method into an in-out line, and after having me straighten my posture and face like when taking an ID photo, he created the line. Like other reviews said, he really tried the line many times. Toward the end of the consultation, he asked if I had any questions, and when I said no, there was silence; then he suddenly handed me the mirror again and created the line countless more times... They say that on the day of surgery he spends 40 minutes just setting the line, and then checks the line again after you lie down on the operating table. I think that is fully believable.. Since this is lowering the line with a non-incisional method, he also explained variable situations where the prognosis might not be good, and said that knowing the color of the sutures used in my first surgery and whether they were single knots or multiple knots would help during surgery. While checking my double eyelids, he said the sutures didn’t show through much, so he thought they were probably blue or white? Later, when I asked the hospital where I had my first surgery, they were indeed blue. And the consultant took notes diligently beside us, and later sent me a long, detailed KakaoTalk message summarizing the consultation and even the procedures that would happen on the day of surgery, even though I left without putting down a deposit. At the end, I had another long consultation with the consultant, and she showed me the sutures the director had removed during surgeries and kept; there were really a lot. The consultant showed me many before-and-after review photos and cases, and I was a bit surprised because she openly showed me the hospital’s own charting and the director’s charting of patients’ surgical processes without hiding anything. And as many other reviews also say, the director really, really seemed meticulous. I had already put down a deposit at another hospital, but the price here was more reasonable than there, and I was swayed by the director’s meticulousness and the low swelling and bruising, so in the end I booked this place.
