Hanmi review

The director has a very strong personality, so it may not suit people who dislike that kind of style, but I personally like directors who guide me with a clear point of view, so I liked it.

I’m not a medical professional, so I don’t know the exact difference between the “under-eye fat repositioning” done at other hospitals and the “under-eye fat transfer procedure” done only at Hanmi Plastic Surgery, but when I asked whether it was under-eye fat repositioning, they got a bit irritated and said it was differentㅎㅎ; (I didn’t dislike that consulting style, so I wasn’t offended.)

I remember there was a consultation fee of around 10,000 won, but they explain things in great detail, enough that the fee doesn’t feel wasteful.

They are very confident in their surgery skills, and I’m about 85% satisfied with the results.

The reason satisfaction is around 85% is that the area under my right eye was smoothed out flat, but the left eye was smoothed a bit less.

The surgical trace is only subtle enough that I can notice it myself, but still, I think it’s a successful result, so I’m satisfied and living with it. (Personal opinion: plastic surgery rarely fulfills 100% of my ideal, and if it satisfies more than about 75%, I consider it a successful surgery.)

There is no option for sedation anesthesia at all, only local anesthesia, so the procedure can be a bit hard, but I usually try to have procedures that can be done under local anesthesia done that way, so even though it was tough, I was okay.

The hospital is a small one-person clinic, but I prefer individual clinics or small hospitals with three or fewer doctors rather than large hospitals, so I liked that.

They have free small drinks in the waiting room, which is nice.

The unsatisfactory part is that from the first consultation reservation phone call onward, the staff member was extremely unfriendly every single time, as if they were angry about something.
