I went after hearing that the doctor’s personality was a bit cold, but they explained things much more diligently than I expected and showed me photos thoroughly too, so it was fine. However, they did not talk about how the surgery would proceed or the surgical method, and just said it was their know-how. They said that when they operate using that know-how, there is absolutely no bleeding from the eyes. Does that mean there is bleeding when surgery is done at other hospitals...? I’m not sure about that. I also had a consultation for double eyelids, and since the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is close, they said they do not recommend double eyelids and stated firmly that they could not do it. But when I said that I have to do it because of my job, they said that if that is the case, the purpose is different, and the surgery appropriate for that purpose is not double eyelid surgery but a sub-brow lift. They said they would proceed in a way that would make the eye-to-brow area become less crowded as much as possible. When I asked about side effects, they said there would be no side effects at all, but I saw cases in online reviews about under-eye hollowing, so I do feel a little uneasy. They also said that since it only moves the under-eye fat, if it were ever to recur later, it is a surgery that can be done again.
