I am leaving a review because my overall impression changed much more than expected after lower blepharoplasty. I had always been concerned that the skin under my eyes looked saggy and uneven. Even on days when I felt fine, people often told me I looked tired, and it was especially stressful because the area under my eyes stood out more in photos. I thought a lot about having surgery at first, but now I feel I made the right decision. I did not want the area under my eyes pulled unnaturally tight; I wanted it to be tidied up naturally, and that is exactly how it feels. Before, the area directly under my eyes looked saggy and contoured unevenly, but after surgery the under-eye line looks smoother than before. Most satisfying is that I look less aged because of the under-eye area. The eye shape itself has not changed dramatically, but once the under-eye area was tidied, my overall impression looked cleaner. Rather than saying it obviously looked like I had surgery, people around me have said my face looks better these days. I worried that it might look too obvious, but I am satisfied because it seems to have settled naturally. If you have been continually bothered by under-eye sagging or puffiness like me, I think it would be good to have a consultation.
