A long time ago, I had double eyelid surgery with the buried suture method, but one eye came undone, so I decided to have revision surgery. Revision surgery usually costs at least twice as much, but even though this was revision surgery, the cash price here was 1.2 million won, so the cost-effectiveness was good, and I was satisfied with that part. It was 1.2 million won for the incisional method, and the director here seemed to recommend the incisional method to most patients. They said he actually performs incisional surgery on nine out of ten patients... However, if the patient strongly insists on the buried suture method, he seemed to accommodate that preference. Nevertheless, the reason I chose incision was because I felt the director’s argument made enough sense. 1. A double eyelid created with the buried suture method coming undone over time is not a side effect. Do you want to take the expressway quickly while also not paying the toll? If you choose the buried suture method, it is something you inevitably have to accept, and if you choose the incisional method, the risk of it coming undone is definitely lower. 2. With the incisional method, double eyelid design is possible. When I had the buried suture method, the front part of the double eyelid was buried in the upper eyelid and was hard to see, so I wanted that corrected, but they said it is difficult to correct that part with the buried suture method.. With incision, it is easier to create the desired line design. It has already been half a year since the surgery, so I don’t remember clearly, but I think that was roughly the nuance. I had it done in early to mid-August, so it has been close to about half a year, and people said it really settles after 6 months; now it feels like almost all the major swelling has gone down. I think the double eyelid was designed well to suit me, so it came out pretty. I was a little worried because the director is an elderly grandfather-type doctor, but he has that much experience and excellent skill, so honestly it feels ridiculous that I worried... I liked it enough to recommend it to acquaintances.
