Since I still have swelling, I can’t know the exact result yet, but the manager was very pushy about recommending same-day surgery. They didn’t tell me the price first either, (unlike other hospitals that tell you the set price first) They asked me first how much I was expecting to spend. On top of that, beyond mentioning side effects and other things, they kept pushing me to just go ahead and get the double eyelid surgery. Honestly, if I hadn’t had the consultation with the director, I think I would have walked out right away. I didn’t feel any professional counseling or kindness from the manager. Rather than treating me sincerely, it looked like they were only trying to make a profit somehow. By contrast, the consultation with the director was good, so I ended up going ahead with the surgery as if I’d been cornered, and the surgery-room staff overall were kind and good, but I took off stars because of the manager.
