JK Clinic Review

I had surgery 5 years ago. The doctor is really good at selling you on things to the point where he blows your mind during the consultation and estimate. I went in just to get double eyelids and ended up booking eye correction and both outer and lower canthoplasty too. The consultation manager secretly held me back from agreeing to the inner canthoplasty too, so I barely resisted.. In the end, the budget went a bit over, but everyone was kind all the way until surgery, and the clinic facilities were good, so I was satisfied with everything. The problem was when I went back for the follow-up. He gently explained things to me and asked if I had any complaints. I developed asymmetry at the inner corner of my eyes, and a friend also agreed with that part, so I told them. They immediately changed expression and said, 'Asymmetry? I don’t see it at all.' They had advertised that they would also do aftercare and corrections at a low cost, but I could already see what kind of attitude they’d take, so I just let it go.. After the stitches for the outer and lower canthoplasty were removed, when I smiled while talking, they became flustered and said that smiling makes them stick together.. At the consultation, they never explained anything other than the advantage that the eyes would look softer after the outer and lower canthoplasty, so it felt like I’d been blindsided. If it were a surgery where I’d have to worry for the rest of my life about smiling causing them to stick together, I would not have done it. I lived smiling, and in the end the outer canthoplasty stuck back together after just six months. I let that slide too, thinking it was partly my fault for not researching well and not wanting to fight. You’re only a customer until you step into the operating room; after that, they become extremely cold. I think they do have aesthetic sense and skill, but I was very disappointed in the way the doctor treated patients.
