My dad asked me to recommend a hospital, so back when Naver related searches were still a thing, he searched for under-eye fat removal and Hush Hospital popped up immediately. I only mentioned it once, but since he didn’t know anything, he thought it must be a good place and booked it right away, then had the surgery.. That’s what I’ve felt most sorry about until now.. ㅠㅠ I should have looked into it more, sigh,, After the surgery, the severe under-eye bulging was gone, but it didn’t disappear completely and there is still under-eye bulging. On the 3rd day after surgery, the incision site opened up, so I held out at home applying Fucidin to the torn skin and then called them, and they stitched it up while I was fully awake.. Even though it was only a few years ago, thinking about it now is chilling and it feels like an old-style method. I also had under-eye fat removal done at another hospital, but it wasn’t this severe, so I wonder how the surgery was done for the incision site to open up enough for bone to be visible..

Separately, in most cases where a surgical incision opens, the suturing would be performed under local anesthesia, so the patient would be fully conscious. From what you wrote, it is difficult to know whether the suturing was done without local anesthesia.
