I’m 165 cm tall and weighed around 62 kg. I used to be 55 kg, but I gained weight from eating a lot of late-night snacks due to stress. I originally did have a waistline, though. Unlike when I was younger, the weight didn’t come off easily, so I decided to get liposuction! They removed about 35,000 cc, and now I’ve also been dieting, so I’m around 57 kg at 165 cm!
I decided to go for high-volume liposuction and went to two places. I had consultations at both, and I ended up having surgery at the one I felt more drawn to.
To give you the conclusion, from the day of surgery I could see my waistline had really gone in, so I was really happy. It was also comfortable because it was a place where I didn’t have to wear a compression garment and there was no IV fluid leaking out~ I did feel dizzy, but it was tolerable. The pain was a stiff soreness, like I had done a huge amount of abdominal exercises. From days 11 and 12, almost everything had disappeared except for the bruises on both hips, and I was very swollen, so the swelling still felt like extra fat. Instead, the swelling gradually moved down toward my buttocks and thighs. I had lost sensation around my waist and abdomen, but around this time a lot of sensation had come back in my right flank/back side, while my left flank/back side still felt like someone else’s flesh. Andㅜㅜ what was truly the hardest part!!! Inside my left side/flank, it kept prickling and itching!! Like the itchiness you get when a clothing tag rubs against you. Even if I scratched it, it felt like someone else’s flesh, so the itching didn’t get better, and I had to press down firmly for it to feel even slightly better. It was honestly so hardㅠㅠㅠㅠ They say it’s normal to feel itchy around this time, but whew...!
Still, aside from the itching, it was okay. When I touched it, it felt like extra fat, and since the fat was gone and only skin was left, it felt like there was still more that could come off. So I asked the consultant why only this much had come off, and she showed me my before photo right thereㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It was hugely different haha.. Liposuction is only the beginning, and the rest has to come off through dieting, so I’m going to work even harder!!!
