If you look at the title, this is something people considering surgery have probably heard countless times, and everyone already knows they should be careful and careful, but I’ll add my own experience and talk a bit. It’s a little long. I’ve had surgery twice. Or if I count the removal of my nasal tip too, should I count it as three times...? lol
My natural nose was truly an ugly, cursed nose. Low, wide, short, that kind. Like it shouldn’t exist in this world... I just couldn’t live with that nose, so the first time, when I was a student, I had silicone and ear cartilage inserted, and I lived with that nose for quite a long time. I had no side effects, but even though I had done it, people around me were always telling me to get my nose done lol
Then I decided I wanted to try becoming pretty for once, so I went ahead with a second surgery. The result was fairly successful (the shape was successful, but scar tissue remained), and I was so grateful to the doctor. But about 4 years after the surgery, inflammatory symptoms appeared. At the time, I didn’t know whether it was inflammation or what, and I just thought it was sinusitis that I always had whenever I caught a cold. I never dreamed it could be a symptom from cosmetic surgery, and I was busy too, so I ignorantly left it alone Then a few years later, I went to that revision surgery clinic for a consultation about something else, casually mentioned my nasal symptoms, and that same day I went straight into the operating room. (I was shocked after hearing explanations about inflammation and removal, cried and resisted saying I couldn’t do it, and eventually went in because the doctor said he would irrigate the inflammation lol) Later, the doctor said there was a lot of inflammation so he had removed the implant, and when I was extremely shocked and said I couldn’t go back to my natural nose, he said he hadn’t removed everything, but in the end told me I should remove it all. But I’m still just living as I am... Of course my nose shape is bad now, and especially the nasal tip has collapsed, so it feels ridiculous and pathetic... Of course my self-esteem has dropped too...^^
Anyone may get cosmetic surgery to take care of their appearance and live their life, at least so they won’t be disadvantaged because of their looks,,, But side effects can really come down to luck. Still, if your desire to take the gamble is absolutely stronger, then do it... If someone who is already fairly pretty touches their face to become even prettier and it goes wrong, the pain and despair at that time are truly immense... For me, my nose was one I really couldn’t not do something about, so I did it. (It’s awkward to say this, but my natural nose was closer to a monkey’s than a human’s lol) The second time was because I wanted to become prettier... And in the end, now I’m in a state where it’s basically my natural nose with silicone awkwardly still inside lol Living with anxiety and worry lol Since I had no side effects after the first surgery, I think I blindly believed that of course there wouldn’t be any side effects the second time either... For both surgeries, I never heard proper explanations or warnings about side effects... Later, when I consulted at a plastic surgery clinic in Japan, the doctor would say one sentence and then list a whole string of side effects, then say another sentence and list another whole string of side effects.
This got long^^ Everyone probably feels the same, wanting to live more beautifully and confidently during their prettiest, best years. Still, please think just one more time about whether this surgery is really necessary for you, and if you still truly really want it, then of course you should do it. Let’s all live beautifully and healthily. Thank you to everyone who read this...
