About 4 years ago, I got double-eyelid surgery as my first cosmetic procedure. Since it was my first surgery, I didn’t really do any in-person or online research and just went because a friend had good results, got the consultation, and had the surgery. It’s been 4 years since then and it has held up well. I later found out that acquaintances I met after the surgery had also done it at the same hospital. It seems to be a hospital that grew by word of mouth,,
Since it was 4 years ago, I honestly don’t remember how kind the doctor was, but I do remember the consultation being good. I still recommend this hospital to people around me, but if I had to mention downsides, it would be that because it was under local anesthesia, the injections in the eyes hurt a lot, and the price was not particularly cheap compared with other places.
What made me trust the hospital was that I originally had one eyelid that had formed a bit and the other that was a single eyelid. I got greedy and tried to make it thicker than my original line, but they said it would be better to keep the original line. My eyes are narrow front-to-back, so if I had made it thicker it probably would have looked like a macaron. Getting double-eyelid surgery doesn’t magically make you stunning, but they still made it natural and suited to my image, so I have no regrets
