The doctor who operated on me was at ㅂㅇㅋ two years ago, and has now moved to ㅇㅁㅁ Plastic Surgery. He’s a young and handsome doctor. His name is unusual, so people who know their way around plastic surgery communities might know him.
It was double eyelid revision surgery + ptosis correction revision surgery, and well... there were no major side effects, and it turned out pretty well without asymmetry.
If I had to call something a side effect... my eyes... very slightly... don’t close all the way... Not long after surgery, they really didn’t close a lot, so I was seriously worried, but after some time passed, it’s much better now. I thought I would get dry eye syndrome, but surprisingly I didn’t.
The reason I decided on revision surgery was that one eye had come undone, but I liked my eyes before the revision too, so I asked him to keep the shape as close as possible to my previous eyes and just raise the line a tiiiny bit.
Rather than being the type who pushes his own style, he’s the type who listens to the patient’s opinions as much as possible. He also isn’t the type to tell you to add this or add that separately. A moderate amount of his own conviction + reflecting the patient’s opinion as much as possible.
Since I was already getting surgery, I asked him to raise the line just a liiittle more, and he did that for me... Before, it was on the very thin side, so I felt it was slightly lacking, but now it’s a full outline. Bare-faced it’s just okay, but with makeup, my eyes take makeup really well.
I’m slightly regretting whether I should have done canthoplasty together too.
But during the surgery, when I was whining because it hurt, he got really irritated..ㅠ He seems like he has quite a temper.. That part was a bit disappointing, but still, seeing how he came every time afterward for follow-ups, dressing, and stitch removal, I think he is on the responsible side.
Then, bye!
