Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

The End Review

In the end, it was my first consultation, so I was tempted, but after looking into it again, they apparently recommend a minor-skin surgery there, and that’s not really the trend these days, plus there are some side effects tooㅠㅠ Anyway, without taking a CT scan, the director examined my nose by hand, and at the second hospital, when I took a CT scan, they knew exactly the shape of my nose as it was. My nose is very difficult because I have a fleshy nose tip and a fairly severe hump, but my septum is on the small side, so they said they would not use the septum at all. They said osteotomy would probably be a good idea, and while correcting the fleshy tip, they would use ear cartilage for the minor correction, fill the empty bridge space between the hump and the tip with ear cartilage, and the director here said this is a uniquely differentiated surgery from other hospitals' no-implant surgeries. With no-implant surgery at other hospitals, there can be some unevenness, but they said they would lay fascia from behind the ear on top of it to make it look natural. That was the surgical method, and because my nose is a very difficult one, they said other hospitals would recommend three methods. But those methods would involve using silicone, using the septum, or using donated rib cartilage, and they explained the side effects each of those methods could cause for my nose one by one, and recommended that this was the best and optimal method for me. They were extremely confident in the surgical method, and I had a lot of questions because I’m very worried about side effects and revision surgery, but they explained everything anatomically one by one, so even though I had been to many hospitals for consultations, I was close to making up my mindㅠㅠ Even though it was the first hospital, it felt like this was the one, so I was worried too, but they are extremely professional and said they would preserve my nose while making as few changes and as little strain as possible. They also said they wouldn’t shave down the hump and would preserve that height. I haven’t asked about the price or post-op care yet, and they said AS would be possible if there were any surgical issues after the operation.
