About 7 years ago? I only had hump osteotomy and deviated septum surgery at a university hospital (no silicone or autologous tissue at all). This time, I went for a consultation with the goal of slightly raising only the nasal tip while correcting a bulbous nose. My nose is a little higher than the average person's, but the nasal tip skin is a bit thick and it has a bulbous-nose feel, so I wanted surgery to make the nasal tip slimmer and a bit more refined? rather than surgery that makes the nose higher. First of all, the consultation completely overturned all my expectations. They suggested putting autologous dermis into an already high nasal bridge, and then said to use costal cartilage for the nasal tip and raise it a lot. They said that would pull the skin upward and make the horizontal width slimmer. When I said I don't have any desire to make it dramatically higher (it's already high enough; because the nasal bridge is high, only the nasal tip looks relatively slightly droopy), they sneered at me as if saying, what do you know... From what I saw, they advertise as if they make plans and designs tailored to the patient's nose, but in reality it felt like the surgery they can do is already fixed. Every time I said one thing, they kept sighing deeply and seemed to want to end the consultation quickly. I wouldn't even consider having surgery there, but if I had, I honestly might have ended up with a witch nose. The consultation fee was 30,000 won, and it was the most wasteful 30,000 won I've ever paid in my life.
