Review of Chae Jong-hoon

I had revision surgery because my eyes had deep fixation, a hollow scar, eyelash lift, a pinched feeling when I closed my eyes, and a mix of overcorrection and undercorrection in my ptosis correction! I consulted here because I had seen the blog and thought they seemed to know the details well, and it felt like they understood exactly what I was worried about, so I decided to have surgery here.. From the consultation onward, they were extremely thorough and answered everything I asked. Even during the surgery, they kept having me close and open my eyes the whole time, and they even had me sit up in the middle of the operation to check my eyes. In the end I released the deep fixation, slightly loosened the overcorrected ptosis correction in the front, and had the back adjusted a bit, and I’m satisfied.. Here, safety comes first and second, so I had it done under local anesthesia! The doctor prefers natural eyes rather than doll-like, large, pretty eyes. My previous surgery in Seoul left me with deep fixation and eyes that were wide open and intense, very clear, and when I wore makeup they looked extremely flashy..! People who have struggled a lot with functional problems after surgery will understand. I wanted not a huge, flashy eye, but a moderately pretty, natural eye that suits my own eyes.. My scars were so severe that they couldn’t be completely eliminated, but just having a less tightly fixed eye makes me so happy! The disappointing part is that the hospital is quite old, so I compared it with the good facilities in Seoul and was worried when I went into the operating room. It didn’t seem to advertise much, and it just felt like a neighborhood clinic that got some word of mouth (actually I preferred that, because I was sick of the crowded, packed hospitals in Seoul ㅠㅠ). And it seems like the nurses also act as managers. They helped in the operating room, but were a bit brusque... Still, the doctor was extremely kind.. The price is fixed, not decided by the manager, but determined through consultation with the doctor! Before the surgery, they told me that even after surgery I might need further correction, which made me anxious, but in the end the surgery went well and so far it’s been okay!
