Nine years ago, after my first surgery, I developed lagophthalmos as a side effect of eye correction surgery. I have severe dry eye, so I am looking around for revision surgery, and for now they said to first release only the parts that were overcorrected locally. They said that if it is released, the hollowing of the upper eyelid and the line will be issues for later. They looked at me very carefully, but I still have severe hollowing of the upper eyelids now, so the side with more hollowing feels dry and tight, but they said they would not prioritize correcting the line either. I am thinking about whether to have the surgery.
