First, I made an appointment with Dr. ㅈ for that date. When I got there on the day, they said, "You’re scheduled for tomorrow, why did you come today?" I only get one day off a week, so there was absolutely no way I could have made a reservation mistake. If they’d just said there was an error and apologized, I would have just said okay too...
Had no choice but to consult with Dr. ㅊ.
Consultation wait time was about 40 minutes to an hour? The front desk and the waiting seats were very close, so I could hear everything the staff were saying. (Like, "What did that caller from earlier say? I don’t know, but I said I understood lol") and stuff like that.. Of course they all seemed like new staff, so I can understand, but with a customer sitting right there, openly saying things like they don’t remember the patient’s name from earlier or that they’re not sure how to handle it made me lose trust.
When filling out the chart before the consultation, they asked about surgical history and medications by speaking loudly right next to where everyone was sitting (I was okay with it, but if you’re sensitive, please don’t go..)
The director was kind. For revision eye surgery, they recommended incisional surgery and epicanthoplasty. But when I went to another hospital, they pointed out scars from epicanthoplasty and said they wouldn’t recommend touching it unnecessarily.
They were kind and had a young vibe, but in revision cases, the difference in experience seems clear.
The coordinator seemed like they were trying to get me to pay too quickly..? When I said I’d think about it, their expression got so dark that I felt awkward..
Overall, maybe around 3 points..?
