Oh, all the negative comments are right on the money. I experienced those negative things myself, and the hospital is really...... the smallest among the hospitals I’ve been to, and being small isn’t the problem, but I had never seen office staff chatting among themselves so much. Because the hospital is small, I could hear all the murmuring too, and since the things they were saying weren’t exactly nice, that alone gave me a first wave of discomfort; from the very beginning, the way they guided me was already off-putting, but yeah, lol, overall their attitude when guiding patients is really bad. Sigh, you’ll understand if you go. And I had my consultation with Director Jo Seong-hyeon. As the comments below also say, there was a very strong sense that he wanted to finish quickly (it felt like he wanted to kick me out^^ I had made an appointment and came~). At the very start of the consultation, I was just blankly looking at his eyes, and he didn’t even say something like, “Hmm... let’s take a look,” or greet me; he just sat down and I honestly can’t even explain it. He was just staring blankly, so I spoke first, and now that I think about it, it was absurd. Here it felt less like analyzing my face and more like critiquing my looks. (Meaning there wasn’t much professionalism; that part really pissed me off all of a sudden.) I went there already thinking I’d do it here after reading the before-and-after photo reviews, so I was in the position of regretting it and trying to be agreeable to the director, thinking okay, I see. But once I left the hospital, I got angry and decided to look elsewhere and book there instead. It felt less like the director was consulting and talking with me and more like, “Tell me what you want to do,” and when I spoke, it felt like, “No, I’m right, you’re wrong.” When you go to consult at other places, they say things like, “Hmm, this probably won’t work~” and explain things, but here it wasn’t even like being criticized; he talked with a sneer, and ugh....... The most important thing is that they say this place is good at creating a flashy line with a pretty look, but when you actually consult, they set the line low instead~ When I showed the director review photos and asked, the director himself complained that he had tried to stop the patient but the patient insisted on doing it that way, that it was bad, that it was excessive, and so on ^^ When I said I wanted a flashy line, he told me to lower my mask and suddenly said I should get contouring; that was unpleasant too, but more than the words themselves, the way he said it felt like, not “It might be good if you do contouring,” but “You probably need contouring first, lol.” I came for eye surgery, so isn’t it ridiculous that contouring came up ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ While explaining that my eye shape is uneven, the way he described it was by making a weird “weh! ik!” sound and squeezing his eyes, and it felt like he was making a joke out of a disabled person, which made me feel disgusting ㅠ It happened so suddenly that I remember thinking, while looking at him, that maybe that person had a tic disorder... It’s not that my eyes are extremely uneven; if you just look at them, you can’t really tell, but still I thought, wow, this person was looking down on me because I’m young. And for people going in for consultations, be careful, especially younger people^^^ People who want a glamorous line are apparently just little kids to them. I’m an adult too, but I’m on the younger side, so I don’t know if they were targeting me as a little kid, but I do know for sure that I was looked down on. And also, if you go to this director and say you want a flashy line, you should know that the director will think that way inside too~ Talking about other patients too was ridiculous and creepy; after going to consult at other plastic surgery clinics, this place felt even more inferior by comparison. They say New Line isn’t great, but I haven’t been there so I don’t know, though Zena will be worse. The plastic surgery clinic I thought was the worst got so much better in my mind after going to Zena that it’s really the worst of the worst. Especially the director^^
