This is a clinic I found through the director’s blog. I had been researching rhinoplasty online for quite a long time since high school, and this was the first clinic I went to for a consultation.
In terms of design, I think there are almost no clinics that can surpass Nano Clinic... During the consultation, I brought a Photoshopped photo of my nose in the shape I wanted, and they said I did well As soon as the director saw the photo, they immediately caught the points I wanted.
I think the director’s aesthetic sense is really good. I pursue a very natural shape, and the director seemed to know exactly what makes a nose look natural. (As an aside, I think a nose where a hump remains “slightly” even after surgery looks like a naturally beautiful nose, and I was surprised that the director agreed with me on this. Usually people want a smooth, shiny nose without any hump... At other hospitals, they asked why I would leave the hump and said they didn’t understand)
They design the line from the inflection point of the nose to the nasal tip so that it suits your face best. While they do natural results, it also seems that for people who want something more dramatic, they operate with a more dramatic line. I think they try to match each person’s needs as much as possible.
When looking at review photos, each person keeps a basically pretty line, but the starting point or shape differs slightly from person to person, and I think this is a really big advantage. Everyone has a nose shape that suits their own face. Maybe because of that, when I looked at the post-op photos, I got the feeling that they were “comfortable to look at.” It doesn’t feel like only the nose is separately pretty; they make the whole face look much prettier overall.
As I write this, it sounds like I’m praising the director, but design-wise, it is an excellent clinic with nothing lacking. There is no anesthesiologist on site, but the director seemed very knowledgeable about anesthesia.
I booked a surgery date on the day of the consultation. Since it was my first surgery in my life, and I scheduled surgery at my first consultation, I had a lot of worries I also had to change the surgery date twice due to various circumstances, and on top of that, I had experienced vasovagal syncope symptoms several times in daily life, so I felt a lot of pressure about anesthesia. In the end, I canceled the surgery, and afterward I went for consultations at hospitals with an anesthesiologist on site, but I always felt disappointed with the design or management aspects... Since it was the first hospital I consulted when I was still inexperienced with the whole idea of cosmetic surgery, I want to go for another consultation, but I feel like the hospital might find it burdensome, so I can’t easily ask
