It was my first surgery, and after thinking about it for a long time and going back for consultations several times, I decided carefully. My natural nose had a low glabella, was short, and looked slightly upturned with no columella. It was a semi-bulbous nose that looked a bit spread out, and my biggest needs were to have a bit more frontal contour than my natural nose and, above all, to have the columella brought out nicely. That was my top priority. I kept debating until the very end, but because I was afraid of silicone, I decided on a non-implant bridge (donor dermis) and autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip, and in the end, all the minimum improvements I wanted were achieved. Especially, the nasal tip gained definition, so it improved from a semi-bulbous nose to about a pretty very-mild semi-bulbous nose, and above all, I had columellar retraction, but they made the columella beautifully, so I’m so gratefulㅠㅠ Since the glabella was dermis, there was a limit because it got absorbed, but that’s just the nature of the material, so it couldn’t be helped, and I’m satisfied with the line itself. If I had to put a number on it, my satisfaction is 80%, and I think that’s a success. And above all, I don’t think there’s any hospital with aftercare as good as this one. All the staff are kind, the Nano kit after surgery, including porridge and Binggrae, was really substantial, and they let patients receive hyperbaric oxygen therapy for free. The doctor’s consultation was okay for me, but they’re not really the type to speak in a very clear-cut and decisive way, so I think people may either like or dislike that. Oh, and when I got an X-ray, my autologous costal cartilage was calcifiedㅠㅠ I was sad because I thought they might not be able to use it, but the doctor said this much could be used... although it would be hard for the doctor themself... They said that, and apparently during the actual surgery, several surgical instruments broke because of the autologous costal cartilage... I’m truly so gratefulㅠㅠㅠ
