This was the last clinic I visited, right when I was getting worn out from one consultation after another. Someone I know had their surgery done here, and I had heard a rumor at the time that the director was good at making the line, so I added it to my consultation list.
The consultation wasn’t as detailed or as kind as some of the other reviews, but it wasn’t rude either. I was seated and they drew out an out line, an in-out line, and a semi-out line. I was silently thinking the in-out line they drew was the prettiest, and then the director said, “This is pretty,” so I immediately felt like our aesthetic sense matched and booked it. At some other clinics, they suggested things like ptosis correction or epicanthoplasty, but here, when I brought that up, the director shook their head and firmly refused, saying my eyes were more than enough to just make the line with buried sutures.
On the day of surgery, they drew the line again while showing it to me in the mirror, and I liked the in-out line they had drawn, but suddenly they said it was too low, then quickly redrew the design and started the surgery.
I think they removed the stitches the very next day. After the stitches came out, I was surprised because the line looked more like the semi-out line rather than the in-out line they had drawn during consultation, but I figured it was just swelling and waited. Even though I only had buried sutures without epicanthoplasty or ptosis correction, the swelling and bruising lasted quite a long time, which was surprising to me (though that’s partly due to my constitution, since my skin bruises easily and is weak). After a long time passed and the swelling fully went down, the semi-out line didn’t look bad and I ended up liking it. Sometimes when I look at photos of my eyes from before the surgery, I can see that even though it was buried sutures, it changed a lot. And even to my own eyes, it looks natural, so people who see me for the first time don’t know I had surgery. When I tell them I did, they ask where I had it done, so I guess it really is natural.
It’s been over 5 years and the double eyelid has held up well without loosening, but suddenly since last year my right eye has become a little loose, so I’m looking into revision surgery (from the start, the muscle in my right eye was weaker at opening the eye).
In conclusion, for people having their first surgery who have eyes that can be treated with buried sutures alone without epicanthoplasty or ptosis correction, and who approach cosmetic surgery conservatively, this seems like a good clinic.
