In June 2021, I had a re-revision, my third, double eyelid surgery. My first surgery was incisional, and the second was incisional + ptosis correction, but the left side kept coming undone, so I had a third surgery. When I went around to several hospitals in 2021, this was the hospital that pointed out the asymmetry of both eyes and other eye characteristics the best, and I think I chose the hospital because of the detailed consultation. Now, about 3 years later, it is holding well without coming undone, but the asymmetry between both eyes was not completely resolved. I think that may need to be addressed with a forehead lift. Up until the revision surgery, it looked so natural that people would not know I had double eyelid surgery, but after the third surgery, I do think it looks quite noticeable. Still, my eyes definitely got bigger by that much, so wherever I go, I hear that my eyes are big and pretty. Considering that my eyes had already undergone incision + ptosis correction, that it was a difficult surgery because the distance between my eyebrows and eyes is narrow, and that it was a third surgery, I think the result came out well.
