My mom was thinking about it a lot, so we went together for consultations on under-eye fat repositioning and lower blepharoplasty. We went wondering whether she would need lower blepharoplasty too, but thankfully they said my mom’s eyes could improve with just under-eye fat repositioning. They said lower blepharoplasty is done when the sagging is more severe, so that was a relief. If it had been somewhere else, they might have asked for something more expensive and suggested all sorts of things, but it felt like they only told us what was truly necessary, and I liked that there was no unnecessary extra talk. I felt a bit uneasy sending only my mom for surgery, so I’m going to take vacation leave too and schedule surgery together with her.
